But you need to stop moving your photo's around in Photobucket, every time you move one it will dissapear from the forum because the link changes, thats why your first one dissapeared and why the one I posted has now dissapeared.

i v done that. I v had my computer for only 4 weeks and internet 10 days ago,and have never learned or touched one before, just let friends browse me about with theirs. And if it was for not this fourm i still would have been with out one, so please excuse me mate!

Well quite honestly then you are doing well! It works like this. When you upload a photo to photobucket, it's given it's own internet address (URL). If you move it (maybe you split up your album into sub albums and moved a photo from the main album to a sub album) the photo gets a new URL. The URL you put in your post is the old one, and the photo isn't at the address in your post any more, so it disappears. Also, if you delete a photo from any album, it's deleted from any post you have put it in.

This is my van,My Mk1,it was first reg in the uk in 1968 as FGL451F, in 07-03-1977 it came to malta by a second hand dealer and had an upgraded 20 V4 engine instead of its 17 V4. Some months after my dad bought it to replace our morris 1000 van, till then its been in my hands since. Although its white, it left the factory in grey primer and was painted black by its first owner or company, whom i wish to know what was its working life in UK.
Here below is our blue double wheel 1984 model.

Are these pictures taken at the market place just outside Valletta next to the bus terminal?

Yes Dave,but you wount see the white Mk1 any more for some time. As a part time on a sunday we sell books [family busness] outside Valletta near the bus terminus. The 3 pictures were taken in a gap of 3 weeks. First we had the Mk1 and Mk2 then i realised that the Mk1 was getting tired so bought the Mk? 2000 model to replace the Mk1, but soon after repainted Mk2 whilst Mk1 was still working. When Mk2 was ready, i Started to do the Mk1 which is going to take a couple of years. but

@Gerald: As you want to know something about your MK1s former working life in Britain, I think maybe it was a hearse! Delivered in primer grey and then painted black! Are there any holes remaining, intended for mounting coffin rails? Back in the sixties black was a rather unusual colour for vans, so my other thought was about a former van used by the JPS cigarette company, but I don't know what time they intended their black and gold colour scheme and if they even used Transits as delivery vans!

No there are'nt any holes, i have put apart all the body parts and now its totaly dismantiled, the only two holes are, 1 on the wing which is for the airial [which if you can see well has a one piece black rod on a spring] and the other is covered with filler on the other wing which i noticed recently as i took of the front wings off. I would more say its Police and the interior body was painted light green tourquois. The only chance is to identifie the british number plates. When i ll devellope the photos i ll put a wrightup in the members progress.

Aslo the Chanel van's livery is black, so could your van have ahd an upmarket past?

Thanks DAFODOL. I drive the blue one. Yesterday my brother made a small dent on the front wing when he hit it with the front garage door lock and two weeks ago an iron bar which we use for the sun shade fell on the side chiping of a peice of paint, size of a penny. The vans are used for work although we care for them alot, but accidents do happen.
