I am going to try and fix whats on there, meantime I am gathering all the stuff together to go on there- captains chairs, 4into1 manifold, 38dgas weber carb, sidepipes, chrome wheels etc. kind of a '70s custom van theme. I'm aiming to have it finished for summer 2007! never seem to have the time at the mo.

sounds even more like mine :o

i have a 421 ex manifold, Twin choke webber, piperX filter and captins chairs (swivling 8) )

selling her soon though cos she's just sitting about being waisted :(

Does it go much better with those bits put on? mine isnt driveable to find out, but I felt I had to do something, before it had the performance of a diesel but with none of the fuel economy. I dont remember transits being that bad when they were new, but perhaps we were just used to it then.
I'm still undecided about fitting the captains chairs, doing so will mean theres only a very narrow bed to sleep on. but the original seats are crap..decisions decisions

I think it must be because women have smaller, lighter feet, not so much pressure on the accelerater. my missus always manages to get more mpg than me too :D

Hi all! Just got the camper through the mot & ready for our move to Cornwall :D . "Only" needed: front springhangers, 2 outriggers, 2 inner sills, steering ball joint & steering box adjustment :( . Well, that should hopefully keep another early mk2 on the road for another year :D .
