If you can get those rubber arches off intact they would probably be snapped up by someone on here, so do it carefully.

One of them has a small chunk out of it, so is there really any point?. If they were mint and intact, i may have considered leaving them on.

Will remove em carefully, if anyone wants em pm me yer address and i'll get em sent.

She's in better nick than i thought, will be removing remainder of interior to the dump tonight, then de-greasing and disinfecting the interior before i can start welding. Once that is done, i shall take pikkies throughout the restoration.

Talk about bargain of the century, managed to get a pair of brand spanking never used fishnet black recaros with red piping!..........as a swap for a mondeo wishbone  ......must go make me some subframes to fit em in the tranny now :D

Good effort, I bet your chuffed.

If those two MK2's appeared on our street like that, I think I'd wet myself.

Looking forward to the restoration work.

Must admit, driving them the 600+ miles home was a bit of a trial, but a smile was on my face, and a lot of drivers seemed to appreciate it, tooting and waving......must be a few mark 2 fans out there, (or people that wanted me to speed up  )

Do it with a video camera mate, then upload the vid to photbucket, then post the url on the forum.

Welding has commenced. New metal flared arches ordered, along with lower and intemediate panels both sides. Starting to get there :D
Will upload some more pics when a bit more welding has been done.

Glad to see you are making some progress :D

Lots of welding to do then......can you get it inside anywhere or has it all got to be done where it stands?
