So why don't you then? Though you do need a level of skill, if you take your time (we couldn't) there is no reason you shouldn't get the same effect.

:cry: she's still not running. I am in need of a new carb. Any V4 carb will do, but if it's a single choke I will need the manifold too.

camper reversion

level of skill? well theres the rub. I am going to attempt to remove the windows and put metal in but I seriously doubt my ability to change the roof panel and make a decent job of it.

To be honest I think the roof would be the easier bit, as long as you are happy with taking the winscreen out, which we didn't want to do, due to the time factor. The roof is one huge panel, spot welded onto the body shell so if you remove one from the donor, and the roof (or what's left of it) from the camper it's a straight swap. The natural joints hide the swap.
