The transits in my life past and present...

The most excellent news is
I have treated myself for xmas and brought a lovely old mk4 transit
This is number nineteen now and is also def a keeper

As ususal its going to be work in progress

I put the bigun in for mot today and it failed which I was expecting anyway But just needs a couple of small bits of welding and a few little jobs doing,
Eg windscreen wipers, headlight adjustment and a number plate bulb Bloody good really for a 23 year old van

The repairs will be done asap and I'm thinking this will make one hell of a day van/ camper van,
The engines as sweet as a nut and is great on diesel as well

The bigun passed its re-test today with no advisories

One day I must re-jig this thread and put it all in order as I have some photo's of my first transit an early mk3 petrol van I had back in 2001 somewhere in the loft
But alas I don't have any of a mk3 minibus that I broke for spares as it was accident damaged not by me though

I'm well pleased to say my lovely mk3 auto sleeper passed her mot yesterday

As much as i have enjoyed owning three transits it looks like the mk6 is on its way out
I have decided i may as well just stick with older transits from now on
As my mk3 autosleeper went straight through an mot
Also my mk4 went through with a bit of welding
I must just MENTION A BIG MASSIVE thankyou once again to Big Monty for selling me such a fantstic transit
I really do believe its the best one i've ever owned and i've had a few
