It's about £46 single or £58 return but I've just bought a card with 10 singles on it for £150.
It's a quicker route to Italy but the tolls are costly but if we get an urgent job it's handy,I tend to go down via Blanc and come back via Brenner,Austria,Germany,Lux.

It has got expensive for tolls in France,we use a Tag which is a lot quicker and easier....get some strange looks from the French when I go for the 30 KMH lane ...especially down South in the summer when tis busy ...
If we go to Spain or Bordeaux side it's always via the N10..

Yeah,I did know, every year I think I'll buy one but we get a load of bookings for France so I think I'll leave it this year and lo and behold it all changes.

I tend to leave them on the screen as I've been pulled a few times by the Asfinag, once I was done €140 as the Vignette had run out by 4 hrs,I was parked in the services and would of walked over and got one but they wouldn't have it.....!!! :(

Other thing is that I'm sure I'd smash a windscreen no sooner I put it on screen.....you ought to try getting a Swiss one off in one piece to transfer to another vehicle....!!

if ur windscreen gets damaged u can pull the vignette off and get a new one for free if u show them the invoice for the new screen :)

http://www.asfinag.at/en/maut/vignette/ ... -downloads

and for travelling thru germany u should consider getting an LEZ sticker. u dont need for the motorways, but almost all bigger cities require it.
its a 80€ fine if u get caught and the sticker is kinda cheap. 5€ if u gte i urself, oder 10€ via mail. http://www.gtue.de/apps2/feinstaub/inte ... dex_en.php
