First working day.Pi**ed with rain mainly but moved 6 cars including the ones pictured.

First job was the Mondeo diesel estate.Non runner,dragged it up no problem,suspension hardly moved (5 leafs) and truck drove fine,loads of speedhumps & sh*t Red kens African track-like roads.

Moved some of my long termers around to clear a safe space to park truck, then loaded a friends SWB Shogun for an experiment in petrol garage.I knew it was on there but still drove ok.(Not on Queens highway of course)Bit cheeky but now know what it's capable of.

Only a couple of snags,prop shaft bearings are shagged,come to light because of extension.Indicators packed up last thing,no hazards either.Checked fuses which are ok.Wondered if the whole stalk assembly has died?Any ideas

Nice touches like tidy welding, metal section ends capped off to prevent them filling with water etc.Makes it easy for me to finish with protection & paint.

Body & chassis alterations finished in primer that matches body colour,will be fine till i get round to finishing off.In the summer maybe???

Also took the time to find out exactly what I needed,and delivered on time.

Anyway,if you need a body built for your truck you'll be happy with their work.

Probably do the flyer same as cab with some graphics,reflective along sides and cover all new underside metal with black stonechip.Weather permitting.
Graphics man is gonna take a picture and show me some ideas for truck on the his computer next week...

Yes chassis has been extended,they've done a tidy job too.Extension came to £475 which included propshaft alterations and brake lines extended.

Yeah I know,constant drama from the authorities.Owning an old commercial will soon be a hangable offence.
Meanwhile mums are still allowed to clog up the roads in their Chelsea tractors dropping 1 child to school.F***ing outrageous.Also heard that some government & local authority vehicles will be exempt.Typical hypocrisy from our glorious leaders.
Anyway,I'm sure by the time the new laws kick in we'll have found a way to meet Euro 4.Filters are dear now,but so were cats when they were introduced,now cheap.

Ride is good, loaded or unloaded.Speed humps etc. no prob.I'm looking for some uprated shocks now.
I'll be calling GME springs again soon for some uprated springs for front end and I'll replace dampers,wishbones,bearings etc while I'm there.
You can get a basic body no extras £1200-£1500.If you want extension,ally decking & truck fitting up you'll do best part of £3000

how much did they extend ur chassis???????????? doesnt look allot from where the wheels are sittng on that mondeo estate?

Body is 17 foot.Chassis was extended 2.5 foot.Enough to keep the overhang legal.
The Mondeo was not pulled up tight to the cab,1.5-2 foot gap.
