I agree there, but if I was going to put in a 5 speed, I would go Di too. Who is this everyone? Have they never seen a Mk2? I think our nieghbours are used to it now.... And Arew, don't encourage him.

talking of neighbours, they make you laugh, live in a nice quiete cue-de-sac road where mum n dad have been here for near enough 35 years know everyone down here. They kicked up a fuss when my old man's van turned up on the drive then mum got a nice new pug 406 est oh and then i got a 1.2 nova and bro got a alpha. so 4 cars, 1 on drive 3 on the road. No problems till one day some matey hit bro's car trying to turn around and since then all the neighbours have complained about the cars.

Council come down moan and say nothing they can do

then one day dad had the van on the drive and it over hanged by about a foot, baring in mind we live at the end out the way not blocking no roads / pavements or anything.

So mr trafic warden comes along and puts a ticket on it. So out we go and have a moan and explain to him about it being private property and he can't do anything. Wouldn't have it so we told him to call his manager who then called the police down. After a hour of waiting and sorting it out the manager and warden said soory and on thier way.

so then the nova went and the bros car moved onto the drive way and the van moved up the road abit and the pug stayed outside all was good. Till I got a loan and bought a beavertail!!!! now we have a banger on the tranny outside the house, pug over the road, van up the end, another banger in the garage bros motor on the drive with banger built on the drive which is now over hanging onto the road covered up. Mr warden comes along and has a nose about the banger over hanging, Looks for a number plate nothing. So phones his boss he comes down and has a look around at which point they deicde there is nothing they can do with it so leave it. So now I allways have a built motor over hanging the drive just to annoy them.

but must say most neighbours are cool with me doing bangers etc. as long as i keep the noise down.

Makes you laugh though, some people out just to annoy the hell out of you then it back fires and they leave you alone.
