Done a bit more, I temporarily fitted the deck back on to see what i will look like and how it will work. It will need removing again and fully welded up when i can get the hydraulics working. Will also make it a bit longer as well to fit the car wheelbase will take it to the max length i can legally get away with, think the overhang can be a max 60% of wheelbase. 2375mm from center of rear wheels.

[quote="greendragon3"]hi ya mate loving you're work , we are currently trying to do something kinda similar here in ireland with our trannie , only difference is ours is a tipper and my old man wants to keep it that way so we are thinking about making a " clip on " beaver tail extension that should convert the bed to over 14' , long enough to bring one of our vintage tractors or a car if need be , we have recently bought a demountable camper to go on ours ( havent gotten it over from england yet ! ) but again the ould fella insists on keeping the tipper body so i dont know what its going to look like until we try it , we have just given ours a full strip down and respray , cutting out a lot of rot in the process the sills were completely shot , she really is a great work horse and carry more than her fair share of weight ,
a few pics .

Hi greendragon i have got a same truck as yours and i want to do the same but also trying to keep the tipper can you or anyone else please give me any advice on making the chassis longer and the propshaft thankyou.
