Hey Anthony,

The van looks wicked! I'm thinking about doing the front grill debadging on my van, ive got a donar grill to do it on. When you cut out the plastic section (that the badge sticks to) does it makes the 2 cross beams really weak and floppy? The plastic badge bit links the two beams together so would make them much stronger. Did you have to reinforce these beams at all?? or once its fitted back on the van is it ok?

Also do you have any tips? I was thinking glueing a plastic plate behind the hole where the cutaway plastic was and then building up to the surface with filler.

Cheers
Dave

Thanks guys.
No it doesn't make it too flimsy, I used bits of plastic bumper and stapled and plastic welded it in place then used fibre glass at back as an extra reinforcement.
It really isn't rocket science so u will manage.

Nice job,

Did you have to buy two sets of skirts?
Are they standard sports alloys?

Hi, yes two sets of skirts, but couldn't find two sets the exact same, they were very slightly different.
No just aftermarket alloys,

They are bonded on, I had to screw them on while sealer hardened then filled holes where screws were then painted on Van. Made couple brackets for bit extra strength underneath, also Did another one and filled back with expanding foam, this helped strengthen them too
