Another ozzy van

Postby Aussievanner » Sun Apr 01, 2007 11:25 am

Just though I'd shove on some piccies of the Mk2 I just picked up. I haven't really done much to it yet, except put on some black wheel trims and blacked out the windows, and also paint the bandit looking thing on the front. which BTW I didn't realise would look like it's wearing a zorro mask until I had finished. But what the heck.
But I do have some plans for the old girl, so I'll keep ya's posted

Welcome.

As long as you have tackling the rust of the door on the list it should be fine. What else is on your wishlist?

Yeah, the whole thing will be taken back to bare metal, then sprayed midnight blue, with a black nose faded in, bolt on flares and a roof spoiler are in the future, also an air brushed mural on either side.
Hopefully I'll be upgrading to a fuel injected six instead of the old carby donk, the new powertrain will have a 4 spd auto aswell.
I have many other ideas aswell, including fully decking out the rear, but I would be sitting here all night if I was to list them. LOL

yeah thanx sundowner, great bargain there, and it looks cool too. Í'm just gunna strip the black of the centre and polish it so it's chrome then put it on, see how it looks. I'll post some photos when I'm done. Thanx everyone else for the warm welcome, you'll probably see me on here alot, theres a huge source of information here. And as a mechanic who likes to do up older cars I like to do my homework and use the wealth of information that there is in other people.
