Well old in reg X, i suppose but new to me... Bought from the Auctions, slight hiccup at the start but sorted now ( Gearbox issues )... Great to drive. Not sure if its the 70ps etc any ideas... What i do no is. 280 TD 2ltr... Looking for a van at the auction and when i saw the color, yep. Definitely want this one so bid and won

look under the bonnet over the back of the engine, theres the turbo, there will be a sticker and it will say something like 07520 or 10020 well its easy the first bit of the number is the ps, and the second is the cc so 7520 will be 75ps and 2 liter or if its 10020 it will be a 100ps 2 liter or get someone to decode the vin sticker

Got t for 2400...Reckon i could have had it for 2200 but rekon the auctioneer biddid me up ( Paranoid ) But had to sort the box out Anyway all sorted now and very sweet... Great havin the mark5 and even better with the 6 PS Great forum very helpfull....

took two weeks to find the battery, seen a link on here... no stickers on the turbo. but seen some numbers stamped on, possibly the 70 unlockin the bonnet was sussed at the auction, with the help of one of the pilots who parks the cars up. Must av thought me a rete Wan
Not one to trash me vans but had 90 out of it the other day ... Had to notify my m8 who rates the 6 as shite and slower then the 5 .. he he... Ill race im n is 5 any day 2ltr V the Bannana...

If you open up the passenger door there are a couple of black plate/sticker with loads of numbers etc on it.

Look at the top one, and in the top left hand corner you'll see some numbers which will say either D3FA, ABFA, FIFA. Whichever it says compare to the following:

D3FA - 75psi
ABFA - 100psi
FIFA - 125psi

I have just been out and double checked it as we have all of them at the moment, so it should definately let you know which it is!!
