Transit Bus seat problem

Postby smiggsy » Sat May 02, 2015 6:05 am

I've had this bus a while now & been looking for a clever space-saver type front passenger seat.
I parked along side a similar van, couple of months ago, and had a squint in the door.
They had a small seat which folded over, then the whole seat flipped up against the dash, looked like the belt was attached to the seat, like a mini bus seat.
The only bugbear was two small catches on the floor, for the seat to clip back into, but I could live with that.
I hung about for ages hoping the owners would come back so I could inquire where they got the seat, or if they knew what it was from, but they never appeared.

I should have thought of this before I finished the conversion but a front passenger seat wasn't a problem.
Now I sometimes travel with a passenger & it would be good to find something.
I tried a rear seat from a Galaxy but it was too fat really, plus had no belts attached to the actual seat.
There'll be the perfect seat somewhere, I'm sure....

Any Ideas?

My dream camper! We don't have these on the continent.
Still looking for a passenger seat - foldable?
Minivans like Peugeot partner or Citroen Berlingo usually have those - very handy. Fold the back, you have a little table. Fold it further and it's out of the way : it's a verticle 80X80 cm 'block'. Good luck!...
