My Mark 6 almost finished

Postby VJ 6 Aus » Sun Jul 15, 2007 2:58 am

Hi all
Well here it is almost finished so far we've airbagged the rear suspension, fitted real front brake rotors( slotted HD from DBA) not the plastic Ford ones, Bluefined, brought the exhaust out the right hand side cause it was melting the rear bumper step underneath, paneled and racked out the rear, made a full bulkhead ( going to get a pressed steel ford one and modify it this one is a bit crap it works but squeaks like shyte),fitted front fogs and driving lights, made and fitted overhead console for screen DVD/ reverse camera and CB radio,Fitted allessio top wheels ( was going to fit 17" compomotives but thats another story), finally yesterday blanked off that bloody stupid EGR valve to cure the black smoke that Frauds couldn't fix , fitted Rotronics dual battery system, fitted modifiied household half batten flourolights in rear, once I get the new bulkhead sorted I'll dynamat the full cab and fit the Toureg electric leather seats that have been sitting in the shed for months and put a decent steering wheel on it if any body finds out where to get the sports van goodies let me know To paraphrase Nighthawk " Transit -jobs never done  " oh yeah and chucked a couple of stickers on it to match the Rally car :D

He says he made it in the original post. Perhaps he might like to draw out some plans for the forum.
