My Transit Hymermobbil.

Postby sailorman » Wed Jul 25, 2007 2:16 pm

Hi Guys,
I have had many elderly motor homes over the years all were sold in pristine condition for there age,its seems I have a thing about just wanting to prove new is not always better and gained so much pleasure when folks came up and said she's a beauty, how old is she.It has now become a way of life always looking for, working on,and talking vans.I am lucky in my area although my German is limited I have made a number of good friends who also have motorhomes or campers and share my interest. Some of the vans I had are Sherpa Highwayman from CI, Bedford CF Bedford Dormobil,VW split Screen,Van conversion from Transit 120, and numerous others .This is my latest toy as can be seen the exterior is almost complete with just minor work to do inside. We have over the past four weeks toured most of Central Germany covering some 3500 kilometres with no problems until on our way home it rained buckets and four miles from home the bloody wipers packed up.Please See parts wanted. The Van is fitted with a 2.5 di and although sedate the oil and fuel consumption is excellent.
Best to All Sailorman
