Happy Birthday to me for friday!! Went to see this today -

12 months tax, a months test. Front discs and halogens already. I have had a good look underneath and I reckon she's more solid than our 1985s!!

Now the bad bits. The blue light was ripped off when somebody tried to park her in a garage, but I brought it home with me so it's repairable. She doesn't so much have dee dahs as dahs! And here is the very worse bit -

she's had a bump! We need a new chrome bumper and maybe a wing, but in the short term I think this is repairable!

I am well chuffed! :D

Also, she's already been in Classic van and pick up (jan 02), just one pic but it means she's already had some camera time!

Chicken wire is for when the hole is to big for filler alone.

yeah exactly. They use to repair our school busses like that. Chicken wire over the area, then fibreglass or Paper Mache over the chicken wire. :D

Yeah, all sorts of things were used to hold our busses together. People call your vans knackered, They ain't seen nothing till they saw our busses :P Luckily they've all been burnt in an insurance job.
