I've been lurking on these forums since i got my project back in February 2020, i though it about time i put some pictures up.
It seems i timed my project reasonably well as i had plenty of time in the early summer.

Its an ex-network rail clarks welfare van that the previous owner had half-heartedly begun to convert to a camper. It came with 12 month mot, minimal rust and some running issues that required new batteries and diesel pump learn.
I cleaned, wire brushed, undersealed and waxoyled as much of the underside as i could, and did some welding where some lights had been fitted on the roof.
With the van stripped, running issue sorted and bodywork presentable after a buff we started the conversion.
Fitted a skylight, solar and wiring. Insulated with celotex and plastic bottle wool. Fitted a vapour barrier and boarded it out with 9mm hardwood ply. Then the easy task of fitting it out.
We managed a few weekends away at the end of the summer but obviously a bit stuck now that restrictions are back. We are still making improvements and changes, like the removable table and the high level cabinets, as we figure out what we want from it.
