Started first time after standing for 4 months, I'm well pleased!

It's a touch scabby, with only 2 places that need the love of a mig!

Sod the windows, I would get rid of the tacho! You will need a whole new clock arrangement though. As for the cutout, have you got that TNT detonator thingy to reset it under the bonnet? It would be worth keeping the system, just move the button inside out of sight and use it as an immobiliser.

If it's there and you don't use it (cos there aren't enough seats to need it), you could get some stick from some of the police who don't know enough, a little knowledge is a dagerouse thing. Aside from that, I think it look cr*p.

I expect most people know but the dashes in Cortinas can be used in Transit mk2's. I decided it would be nice to have a rev counter, you have to change the perspex front bit over to a transit one but the clocks bit goes straight on. You then have to sort the connectors to go with the new dash and fit an extra one to connect from the coil to the rev counter. Looking at the picture I guess you will need to change the housing for one with normal instruments as well.

My mate has been showing off cause he has a 6 speed astra, lol, now I have a 6 speed Transit!

And the tacho is coming out as soon as possible
