I had considered it Luke, but the thing is I know the wheels are out there somewhere!

She's running around on 3 Alloys and a Steel wheel at the mo, I got a set of Tourneo Alloys for her and was planning to make some Half inch Alloy spacers, the problems started when my tyre man took the tyres off the steel wheels......I knew they were badly corroded, but when he got the tyres off there was a huge portion of the wheels left attatched!

What do I care I thought, until I got on the road with the Alloys.....only to find one of them is buckled!!! It didnt show up on the wheel balencer, but as soon as you hit the brake pedal all hell breaks loose!

If I could get another Tourneo wheel I would still go with my plan to make the spacers, but they are so hard to come by....everyone wants you to buy a full set.

So, I figure if I can get a set of Wellers for her I can sell the three Tourneo Alloys seperately, and I'm sure they would go very quickly too.

It will be interesting to read your techy bit about re-drilling though thats for sure, anyone that does stuff a little 'outside the box' gets my vote!

I wish I had a mobile crane to do them with! But I'm a bit stuck in the 70s with a block and tackle and a dirty great tripod(ex M.O.D).

Still, she drives like a dream now :D

If it does the job, why worry? Not like you are wipping the engine in and out every day. Are you.......?
