Postby billybun » Sun Jun 11, 2006 10:10 pm

Hi all :D , this is my mk 2 camper i brought of ebay this year for a massive sum of £50.99  yes fifty quid  ,me and a mate towed it from the guys rear yard in Blackpool to home in Birmingham  ,but first gave the old girl a day out  ,i towed her to Blackpool seafront :D ,she got a lot of intrest including a guy who got his misses to take his pic sitting in her  . The local police also came to see us,have a safe journey home the :o   older fellow said after checking us out  . Towed her back at a steady 50 on the staight bar i welded up (before u ask yes it held out lol  ) well did,nt want them dvla men in ther jeeps pulling me,there :P s loads of the buggers in lancashire on that m6 :P :P :P ............ She is unusal as she has no front doors  ,and what i think are bedford cf bumpers, the wings are moulded in but not mks transit standard ,i think they maybe adapted A series transit  ,there is a escape hatch in the roof along with one in a cupboard and a rear entry door  , its 2oocc petrol, will be restored by me,and a 2.5 and mt 75 fitted    ,it will keep me busy for sure but its my little hobby and i can stand back and say i done that        ..very best wishes BillyBun

It has no front doors built in,they have used only the top half, the bottom bit goes out as a fibre glass panel, there are cupboards built in for storage where the orginal bottoms would of been, kinda flared it has a strange window winding mec to,not mk 1,2 or later Transit     best wishes Billy   [/b]
