The Land Rover was unfortunantely not mine, I brought it home for a friend of mine.
The weight of it wasn't a problem but the Land Rover's height caused the, what's it called, gravity center (??) to be very high, I had to drive quite slow in the bends.

Nice truck, have you any idea who made the chassis? In the UK they are either Ford option, or a company in Lieghton Buzzard is licenced to extend them, ours has one of thier chassis, with a 5m luton body.

Nice truck, do you know who extended the chassis, or is it a ford SVO? We have a chassis with a 5M luton body.

I have no idea who has built the chassis, but considering the way it looked and how the extension was made I don't think it's made by Ford or any other licenced company.

It was really badly done an I have now rebuilt all of the extension so that it now is quite much stronger.

I don't know how much extended the frame is but the wheelbase is just over 3 meters and the bed ( where the Ladrover is on) is only 4 meters long from the back of the cabin to the end of the truck.

The info i have managed to get from the DMV is that it has been a recovery truck all it's life.

if it's a Ford SVO there will be a plate on the passenger step riser, telling you the options.

OK, I've seen the plate. Will take a photo of it and maybe someone here can identify my truck.
