MY NEW TRANSIT MINIBUS!

Postby geordie white van man » Mon Jul 10, 2006 10:09 pm

Wot do you think? I only paid a grand for it, which I thought was cheap as seeing as its a 2.5Di with PAS, passenger and drivers airbags, drivers seat armrests. As you can see ive already added a few things such as clear indicators and meshed the front grille!

Thanks Rover! I was gutted about the old transit. I spent alot of time and money conveting it to a smiley front last year and within a year it just seemed to fall apart! I even swapped the wiring loom with a smiley loom and had the coded key, and all the gauges worked properly aswell after I made the smiley fuel tank fit! Everything except the shell and rear axle had been swapped. Now ive bought the bus, Ive put a 15inch subwoofer, 600w splash neon series ampliflier, 4 sony 6x9 speakers and sony head unit, it sounds mint!

Bargain! High mileage? (as if that matters).

mileage isnt too bad really for a minibus, 135,000 mile, 2 previous owners. I know the mileage to be genuine as I bought it from a mate of mine. Also forgot to mention it has ABS brakes aswell!

Yeah I see what you mean! I made that front end myself though which isnt too bad for a rookie! It certainly doesnt look much like a mk4 escort any more from the front!
