I think my problem is that it has rusted from the inside out - so appears OK, but gives you nightmares when you stick your head under the wheel arch.

In Scotland they like to shout 'Hey mister got annae ice cream'!
Which is unfortunate because I could have made a fortune in my street with the weather we're having.

Ever thought of a couple of cool boxes and some tubs of Iceland's finest?

You don't know of a way in which I could make up my own inner wings do you? The wings and headlight bowls have some rust but this could be easily fixed and resprayed.

I would hate to have to start ripping her apart!

Any suggestions?

Some did post in you other post about patching the inner wings with the wings in place, go and have a read as I can't remember who it was.

You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.
