superb mate- ive never been a fan of A bars, but it looks just right on your van 8) .

surprising how much difference the clear indicators and new alloys make- mine (also an R reg) has the originals and looks much older for it

Any idea what make the A bar is mate? And if the company do a version for the Mk6? Been looking at a few just lately around the interweb, and it looks like quite a few suppliers are getting them out of the same factory so it's a bit confusing. Also, I don't really like the shape of some of them - I know it's being picky but for the money you want one that looks right - which yours does. Think it might have been the City bar or something like that I didn't fancy. The one from Cotswold Motor spares looks nice, as does the one from Van Style. We could do with a list of suppliers and pictures all in one place on here so we can compare them easily!

Hi there...not too sure what the make is...ive had a quick look and cant see a makers stamp. If youve any ideas where it it might be located i'll have another look for you. I see theres various types on Ebay so you might be lucky and spot what type it is there...all the best Pete

Yeah - I think that's the one I wasn't so keen on for some reason  I reckon that one is the Cobra Citi guard. Mind you - it could be just the photos - on the Palm site, the bar on blue van at the top of the page looks loads better than the white minibus further down, and I assume it's the same bar!

I did rather like the look of this one from Cotswold Motor spares:
