Hi all,
Alot you you may have seen this one on Ebay a few weeks ago..

I won the auction, and now have her sat on my drive ;)

The whole idea of getting this van was to transform it into a mobile licenced tattoo studio.

Ive started working on her, shes not as poorly as the auction made her sound!

All the back end is completly stripped out now, ready to be re-fitted.

I have also taken the front bonnet, lights and grill off.. Stripped and primed them ready to re-spray.

I will add more pictures as i go along..

what a great idea! A lot cheaper than paying an expensive lease on a building, and mobile too:) Good thinking!

You'll be surprised, ive seen some right crappy studios at shows in the past.. Old rotten caravans, buses etc..
Ive got the documents here and our Eho's main concern is hot running and waste disposal..

I'll keep the pictures coming as i carry on with the project.. May not be for a few weeks as i want to get the welding done for the mot.

Thanks peeps

Hi all...
Got round to doing a bit of spraying between the F1 and BBQ's this weekend...
Also found out how to alter sizes on photo bucket, so no more 'in your face photos' lol.

Heres the Grill..

Heres the bonnet and light housings...

Im gonna spray the insides of the light housings crome tomorrow, as well as the bars on grill i think just to make them stand out a little bit more..

Tomorrow is also going to be the day that im stripping down the inside cab.. So that should be fun..

Have any of you used an electric paint sprayer before?
I was going to go out and buy a compressor and all the bits, but see that a local shop have the electric ones on offer for £30 with all the bits included.. But not sure how good they'd be..

Hi all, spent most the day out side on the cab..
After finally getting the seats out and flooring up this is what it looked like..
Most of the rust was surface rust, but some had eaten through..
Image

This is some of the welding that needs to be done..
Passenger side floor..
Image

Drivers side door well and sill...
Image
Image

After stripping the floor back with the grinder and wire brushes i repainted the floor, leaving the bits that need the welding doing..
Image

I also got round to refitting the bonnet, grill and head lamp covers..
