Finally got my new Pioneer head unit installed! Boy does it sound a lot better than the stock am/fm/cd deck. That think was just terrible!
Now, I just need to have the amps, speakers and subs installed!

Well it's been a while since I've done anything nice to my van.
So I finally got around to installing some stainless steel spoke inserts on the steering wheel.

I rather like them!

Next, I'm going to replace that ugly "Ford" emblem. I just don't like the blue color, so I'm going to have a custom logo made to fit there

Things over here in the U.S.A. are pretty good. Although, I wish they weren't changing the appearance of the TC next year. As it is we can hardly find parts for our current models, now they are coming out with a completely new style and body, which means it'll be impossible to get anything for this unless I order them from the U.K.

Well hello again!

It has been a number of years...... life happened. But I am back (in large part thanks to Luke who helped me get back into my old account! I think it had been since 2014 when I made my last post on one of the other threads here.

But, life sort of derailed (years back... 2014/2015).. and I had to have my partner whom I'd been engaged to.. arrested. Life went into a tailspin, lost our house, and I went from a 1200 square foot home with a 2.5 car garage and a near-2000 square foot shop out back... to a 700 square foot apartment with no storage. So yeah, plans on Bumbles changed a lot.

About the only things I got done over the past years was new wheels.. steering wheel spokes got painted aluminum inserts (since the steering wheel was from a Ford Focus, this was easy), and that's about it. But I just purchased a portion of the center upper dash so that I can start making some other mods I've wanted for a while.





Soon to be had in the future, painted rings around my vents, custom inserts for the document pocket, and possibly a hinged / magnetic lid for the pocket itself but we'll see about that one!
I'm also going to disassemble a vent and do my best to 3D model a new vent ring out of clear frosted pla so that I can put rgb lights behind them.


I've wanted light-up rings ever since the first 'Ford Transit Connect Family One Concept' came to the U.S. back in 2009 (before we officially got the neutered version of the van).
