This is my 1974 MK1 115 Bus. I will post some more pics when i can find them. Its original (not restored) but has had a repaint. The funny holes in the grille are where an electric fan was mounted.

Thanks guys, but its far from concorse, the trim on the front seats is split hcence the seat covers, and the paint has been touched up where there was minor rust (rear left gutter, bottom corners of the back doors) and it has a few dints from various incidents over the years that havnt been fixed. Incliding a recent one where a guy on a motorised skate board hit it at 50kph :x !. Its basically good original condition. I have seen a better one it was a fully restored mk1 transit camper - absloutly mint if i see it agian i will photograph it.

thanks

Stewart

Mark, i have a Ford Falcon/Cortina 3300cc straight six. Its putting out roughly 100kw. Here in oz ford fitted these engines to transits at the facotry to make them go harder and better on long distance trips which are a reguar thing in austrailia. To achive this they cut a section out of the fire wall and there is a small engine box in the front of the cabin, which has the shifter on it. With the six and teh 4.6:1 diff the transit goes reansoably well though nothing compared to modern stuff.

Ok fred i will post a pic in the next day or two, baiscally all they have done is extend the engine bay by way of a hole in the fire wall with a tin box into the cabin. I will take some photos and post them soon. When i say factory it is the ford factory here in OZ.
