Advice on buying Mk6

Postby Titus » Wed Sep 19, 2007 3:41 pm

Hi Everyone, just gone self employed and need a good van, I have always had Transits, I have found a 05 Mk6 300 LWB with 21500 miles, really clean, the guy is willing to sell at £7000 (No vat-private sale) i have run a full RAC date check and all is ok, only bad bit is a marked pannel, but the guy is willing to pay to have this sorted, i think this is a good buy, what do you think? Thanks All. :?

Hi Mad Mark, Thanks for the advice, I have a gut feeling that this is a good deal, so much so, i left the guy a small deposit yesterday, but i'm always afraid of buying a lemon! The guy has owned this from new, it drives spot on, and has 7 months warranty left from dealers, so i guess i can't really go wrong.
Thanks Geoff.
