hi i am new to transit vans but i would like a mk6 mwb transit van i have about £5500 is this a realistic price? i have started looking at them and am i right that they are three different hp? 75ps 100ps 135ps they are also 280 and 330 numbers is this the weight? are they all fitted with the 2.5td engine? can anyone tell me whats the best model number to have many thanks les

les it all depends what you want it for , if you want it for a car type van that you are going to do up abit then you cAN get what ever you want the 260 or 280 is swb for an idea the engine choice is upto you ,the 100ps is a nice all round engine or for more power the 125ps in the fwd is a fast van ,but even the 85ps is a nice engine, you need a late as poss to avoid the rust! :wink:

£5.5's realistic enough you should pick one up for that no probs :D

have a look on ebay's completed listings to get an idea of what they go for then look locally at a few - you'll soon get an idea whats good and whats been hammered :lol:

and yes the 75 relates to the horse power and the 280 would be 2800kg carrying capacity :D
