Transit Sport

Postby selectsecurity.net » Sat May 02, 2009 5:21 pm

Hi am thinking about a Transit Sport, either that or a VW transporter 130 or 174.

The transit looks nice, however how does it compare to a VW?

I heard that the tyres are a problem, and that they have a rust problem....is this true.
What about comments from any sport owners.

Many Thanks

What the transit? Will its not a transit if it doesn't have rust! As for the transporter as sportacus on the forum he had a sportvan but sold it for a transporter.

well you've come to the right place for a unbiased opinion

tyres are a problem - or at least the standard tyres it comes with :!: my advice to anyone with a sportvan would be fit a different brand tyre :!:

Funny, yes I am sure you all LOVE the Transit.

However I need a reliable Van that will last me for 6 years or more.

much prefered the vw to the sportvan but have since sold it as i needed a bigger van so now have a new sprinter
BTW mine was a 174 imapped to 205 and it flew far faster than the sportvan and that was remapped too
