What to look for when buying this van

I am going to have a look at This van in a couple of days and I have never had a transit(or even a van) before so I could do with some advice on what to look for when I go to view it, if I don't get this one It will be very similar. So could I get some advice on where to look, what to look for, what to ask for etc.. so I hopfully don't get stung? I was also thinking of getting a vehicle history check on it aswell.

The biggest issue now with MK5 is rust, so look hard all over for it, arches, crossmembers, doors, steps, cills, any thing mechanical is easily repaired but corrosion kills more Transits than anything else

i would be carefull with that one ,it looks like its had a blowover so there is a good chance its full of filler round the arches etc!

any opinions on this van? is the fact that it has had a lot of welding done a good or bad thing?
