which transit to buy???

Postby builderboy » Wed Feb 02, 2011 9:07 pm

Hi,
I am currently running a citroen berlingo for work, I have come to realise its not big enough. I am currently looking at two transits, both of which are T280 2.2 MWB, one is an 06 plate 85ps with 42000 miles and the other is an 07 plate 110 ps with 61000 miles. Im looking for advice on which would be best, I have driven the 110 ps and quite like it, just wondering if there is a big difference in fuel consumtion between it and the 85ps. Also im not planning to be heavily loaded much so is there a lot of difference in torque between the two? Thanks.

I would also reccommend the 110ps as it will have a better diff ratio and probaly be better on fuel

110 is what im thinking, only thing thats concerning me is the mileage, is 61000 high mileage for that age of van? is there any known problems that occur around this mileage?
