tips on buying a transit converted Camper

Hey
i was wondering if any can give me some tips on buying a Ford Transit.
Mid year ill be travelling to London and plan on buying a converted camper to travel around europe.
Im looking for reliability and economy.
Prefer a swb as it will be easy to get around.
Plan on spending 2500 pounds.
Any advice is welcome as i dont know a whole lot about transits.
