Going tomorrow to look at a 260 2lte transit swb on a 02reg going for around £3950 the thing is that it done 115k miles full service being told
just looking for thing to look for or stay will away
any input would be good

The mileage really isn't that high :D

Personally I don't like FWD. Check the usual like blue smoke, Door gaps for poor accident repair, 'knock on lock' for the drive shafts and that the gears all work and select without any problem and don't jump out :wink:

Any pulling to one side and condition of those front brake discs.

And of course the one thing that Fords love and that's RUST :!: As the body is thinner than any model before you must know that any sign of rust means it'll be a hole in a matter of weeks :shock: :!: :D

i am running around in a petrol /lpg 2.3 its done 108k and is sweet as a nut! the problem with a diesel van is 1 the dual mass flywheel and 2 the injection pump could go at any time this will cost you around 1k for a pump! :?
