90 td 350 quick enough?

hi ya all! great forum. i'm currently driveing a 150 r reg(mk5?) and as i expected is slow(but needed a van sharpish and was low mileage) am soon to upgrade to a newer van, i'm a van courier and i do mainly long distance stuff so is the 90bhp guna be slow? or would i be better off with a 115 or 120? i dont want to go everywhere at 90 but would the 90,350 struggle a huge amount more than the others? and are they better on fuel the more power you have(with in reason)?
how are they when fully loaded? have driven the 280 100bhp whats going to closest to that in the long wheel base?

You can get a 280 LWB. if you are using a 150 the equivilant of that is a 330

the 115 is the replacement 90 (both RWD) and has better torque

have you driven them? is the 90 enough(more is allways better) or a bit lacking?

I've driven the 90 and (this is my personal opinion) It's OK A good lugger but not high performance

you can always chip it

Nearly forgot This engine has proved to be really reliable

ive got a 90 ps mk6,i too do courier/light haulage,it struggles up hill loaded but once back on the flat itll do 90 loaded,basically botom end is crap,but once the turbo spins in there ok,probably could do with a dump vale ,but if you can get a 125/120 ps go for that,remember if you find a jumbo it will only carry 1300kg,as the lwb will carry 1500kg
