what faults to look for on a 51 plate 350 lwb

:lol: hi folks i'm in the process of getting a 2nd hand 51 plate mk 6 lwb, however i need some tips/advice & experience on what to look for body wise & mechanically

the veh had 105,000 miles on it

i know the timing belt must be changed at some point but when

any help would be greatly appreciated

Dont think they have a timing belt :?

And there's no cam. belt on these :wink:

check for rust mate they rot like hell :wink:
clutch and dmf :wink:
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

it's the t350 2.4 td model semi high top, thats all the info i have on it at present

no cam belt??? :?

any more info would be helpful, i know about the rust coz my 95 m reg arches & back doors have it but i'm mainly concerned about engine & gearbox etc

timing chain :wink: clutch and dmf seem to be a problem on these mk6's and can be costly to fix also they rust where you dont see check underneath seen a few fail mot's now :shock: :shock:

its a chain

have a good look underneath, the mk 5's rust but have alot more underbody protection than the mk 6
