first post, looking at a MK6 this afternoon, any tips?

Postby trangabanga » Wed May 27, 2020 2:50 pm

hey folks, hows it going?

going to look at a '52 plate MK6 this afternoon, looks tidy
15 seat minibus (planning on converting to camper)
its a duratorq DI 2.4 (90ps) 69000 miles with service history (was minibus for old folks home)

comes with service history, just had new clutch, not much rust from photos
1 years MOT, no advisories

guy wants 3750

any suggestions? things to look out for? this is the first bus i've looked at...

i've not made my mind up. looking for something to convert to a camper... this is about my limit cash wise...
im thinking lower milage the better, but would i be better off buying a newer MK7 with around 100000 miles?
