Postby CrasterYD157 » Sun Jan 13, 2008 8:38 pm

Hello All,

I have the chance to get a:

L Reg High Roof LWB 190
It has around 140,000 on the clock MOT April and TAX end of Jan,
Its going for £425..

What do i need to look for?

It will be for towing my Nova race car.

What is a 190?

I need all the info i can get.

Thanks in advance :D

look for the dreaded rust - have a good look in the chassis spring hangers around the battery :!: rear arches and wings arent as bad - there not mot failings they just make it look untidy :D

but for £425 you cant get em much cheeper with T&T on as people will run em and throw away :!:

190 is the weight it can take 1900 kg and for towing its the one you need ideally :D

Cheers Luke,

I know it seems, great gonna put a bed in the back and a fridge for when i go away racing for the weekend.

I havent owned a Van before, what is the best insruance company and is the 190 harder to insure than other vans.

Does anybody know the Kerb Weight of a LWB High Roof 190 ?
