Advice on selling

Postby Fidde » Wed May 21, 2008 6:25 pm

I'm thinking of selling my 1969 Mk1 van (Essex v4). So far it has taken me from Sweden to Paris, via Denmark and England - and he's still going strong. I'm on a road trip and the next stop is Geneva, Switzerland. The idea is to let him go sometime soon, as the trip will continue with other means of transportation than car. It means that Geneva probably is the place I will make the actual sale. So, what I would like some advice on is the following:

* What means of (free) advertising are recommended given that I'm in a foreign country far from home?
* How much could he make (I know it's hard to tell without pics, but considering the car is in good shape)?
* Is any other country preferable to sell in aside from Switzerland?

Thanks in advance
