I'm sure it was longer than a normal lwb cos it had three panels in the side two long ones and one small one in the middle it was a high roof but not sure if long cube or high cube maybe you could shed more light on the differences?
Cheers

Is a longcube the same wheelbase as a normal lwb chassis cab then, equivalent to a chassis cab + extended frame hanging over the back? :? Think the wheelbase on my chassis cab is about 3.5 metres.

Yes Longcube wheelbase is exactly the same as the lwb, as you said it has the extended frame.

longcube is my avator too

it is as said above but it has the mk4 rear on it hence it over hangs in such a way.
I do miss my longcube for the length but not for the lack of turbo :D

Thats the one, thanks for that.I see in the info that Guy88 kindly put up for me that it is 76PS with a final drive ratio of 5.14 Am I right in assuming that it will be quite high revving on M/ways at about 70mph,what kind of mpg can I expect?
Thanks for all your replies.

They are quite high revving over 60mph, I don't think mine is too bad but there is a differnce between the longcube and my swb which has a 4.54 diff. Generally my logcube's engine is a lot louder than my swb, but the longcube has alot more go in it.

I think the longcube has the mk3 rear end not the mk4, iirc the mk4 rear is the same as the mk5 less the vents.

So is the longcube one continuous chassis under the floorpan then or lapped and spotted, or bolted?
Can't see that Ford would make one massively long lower chassis member.

It is slightly wider than the standard settings, but I only did this because the van looked odd on the standard settings.
