Auction Buying. Blackbushe.

Postby RobbieH » Wed Jun 03, 2009 10:54 pm

Hi all,

My first post after finding this forum. I'm interested in buying a transit for a camper conversion and have had a quick look at whats available from BCA. Could someone tell me what VAT commercial means please? Does this mean that besides the bidding price i have to pay extra for VAT on top? Also i read something about closed auctions? does this mean only dealers can attend van auctions or just some? Sorry for the newb. questions but i'm keen to at least check out the auction to see what prices various vans go for. Still trying to get my head round all the types vailable to, but i think i'll go for SWB, med roof, 2.0 diesel and as new as i can afford, hopefully around 2000-2006 with luck. Anyone have any input as to whether i'm heading the right way for a camper conv. too would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Rob.

hi most commercials are sold plus vat so yes you need to pay vat then with an auction you will need to pay a premium which also attracts VAt as it is a service so be careful.

closed auctions are for trade only not the general public

easy !
