what do i look for for in a Transit

Im about to go and look at my first possible purchase of a Transit Van. What should I look out for? its an x reg, 76.000 miles, lwb, 2.4. I'm worried that i'll not check something thats pretty obvious to anyone else, I know little about vehicles. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
