How much is our camper worth

Hey guys,

Were looking at selling our camper soon, as we are getting a dog so going to build a bigger one. So, i'll start with the spec:

Mk3 1989 2.0l pinto SWB semi hi top van
2 years ago when we started building it it had new front wings, new rear wings, front cross member rear doors, and chassis fully seen to. It then had a full re-spray. So there's no rust on the body work or arches etc, and the chassis is solid. Flys through MOT's with no advisories!

Engine has just been fully serviced. The head has been rebuilt 2 months ago with new valve stem oil seals, all valves relapped, new gaskets all round, and new cam shaft. A new weber 34 ICH carb was also fitted at the same time, and the whole lot set up for timing etc. The engine is solid and runs very well (as it should after all the work!).

Right, the interior:

Electrics: 290 aH leisure batteries
Stirling digital advanced alternator to battery charger (boosts charge to batteries during driving, and conditions)
Stirling pro budget 20amp mains charger
350w inverter
Status 530/5 boosted tv aerial
Electrolux 3 way fridge
Reversing camera
Vent-axia extractor fan

The 240v mains in the rear of the van can be run off either the batteries (through inverter) or mains when plugged in. We have found using mains in rear for laptops, phone chargers etc, we have gone well into 4 days without moving the van/charging batteries.

Water: 120 litres of onboard water tanks
External shower
Nature pure water filter and drinking water tap (can fill tanks from virtually any source an still drink the water!)
Carver cascade mk2 gas and electric water heater with 9 litre capacity
Waster outlet at rear of van

Kitchen: 2 gas ring hobs
grill
Spinflo thermostatically controlled oven
Sink with hot/cold running water
Oak worktops all round

Bed: Made up from bench seats with cussions arranged accordingly

General: Gas bottle is built in between the front seats in a sealed box (can also be plugged in externally at rear of van)
BMW seats
Safe under passenger seat for passports etc
Removable roof rack
Ladder on rear doors
Spare wheel
20l jerry can on rear doors
Clothes storage under seat boxes and cubby holes above cab
Lino floor (waterproof!)

So, this van was built for wild camping, with no need to stay on campsites. We went round scotland for 2 weeks earlier this summer and didn't use a campsite once!

Ready to drive off to its next holiday, all the new owner would have to do is put some petrol in it and fill the water tanks!

it also has 7/8 months MOT and can't remember tax

You will need to sell the van at the beginning of season, best going to your local motorhome sales place they will give you a better idea that fleebay. Looks like you worked really hard and nice job too. its taken us a years and bit to do up our motorhome, but its worth it.
