Advice Needed - buying a Transit and insurance

Postby bigvanman » Wed Sep 23, 2009 12:25 pm

I'm thinking of buying a Connect. I think the LWB would be more practicle for me. Firstly can anyone give me some advice on models - and any problems they know of - and secondly, can anyone recommend a good insurer? Cheers

I bought a 2002 Connect which has been fantastic. Much more room than a Berlingo but not quite as bulky as bigger models. V.comfortable behind the wheel and has good seat position which is brilliant for all the multi-drops I do. If you don't need masses of room a Connect is perfect.

Also, check out www.thevaninsurer.co.uk - Its Van specialist so cuts out a lot of hassel and it says it can beat any quote - certainly worked for me - saved me a fortune!
