Looks in reasonable shape, but I would bet my life its had a respray in the not too distant past, especially seein as BT didnt have any white vans that I know of.

First thing that springs to mind is that its a Mk4 with a Mk5 front end. This van should have the short bonnet and the recktangle grill. Its just been through a paint shop and had a blow over. Cant see any signs of rust but its sure to be there, you just cant see it with the new paint. Its fairly low milage for its year and the engine looks quite clean. The engine has definatly been washed down at some point recently tho as the expansion tank is spotless and it dont take long for that to discolour. £950? i think if i was going to buy it id be very suspitious of the respay covering up all sorts of horrors (you need to go see it) its probably been in a front ender and this has been repaired with Mk5 parts, it looks like it all lines up ok tho. I think these vans need to be visually checked by yourself before purchase, coz as i said, that paint could be hiding a breeding ground for rust.

looks a good deal - like the others says probly had paint but it's a transit workhorse not a show car  , if it runs well and looks presentable then go for it but you may have to deal with the rust when it comes through- after all you could spend twice that on one and have the same problems with the rust later!!! :(

the mk5 front may just be someone who has altered it for no other reason than cosmetics after all it has had rear seats fitted!!

If you have already bought it burgerking, and you want it giving the 'once over' then just give me a shout, nip it down the M1 two junctions (i'm just off J25) and I'll have a good look at it F.O.C

It looks the same as the engine in our MK5 with a different airbox. i believe the airbox is a ford fitting and it is 70ps :D not turbo :(
