Postby captainkevey » Wed Jun 09, 2010 8:28 am

hi am new to the forum and in need of a transit van ,
what i need is a mwb high or semi high roof pref front wheel drive as the floors lower in the cargo area ,but i dont really know what engine size to look for ,only got about £3000 to spend ,so any one help ? is the 2.0 engine better than the 2.4 ? whats the average mpg on both ,what differance dose the psi make on the enging ? i only need it for local area work no long motorway journeys,is there anything specific i should look out for on each van or engine ?? any comments would be helpfull ,at the moment i have a movano mwb high roof ,
also anyone know the load length & overall length of a mwb ??

The 2.0 is FWD the 2.4 is RWD, the MPG will be better on a FWD, the ps is the power output of the engine, the higher the figure the more power it has, The 100ps is widely regarded as the best choice for a 2.0 fwd, average mpg varies wildly depending on load, roads, speed, driving style etc, but usually around 30mpg is realistic
