How much is it worth

Hi, i've got the option of buying a new transit, its a Vreg MK5, 56,000miles, full service history, there's no tax or test, it needs welding under the bonnet and the arches +back doors sorting for MOT.. what do you think, i need to make an offer, it needs to be more than scrap value, Thanks J

if u dont mind welding it or paying for it to be done then fair but i think it will need more than that doing otherwise it would be tested already

They took it for MOT and where quoted £1200 for all work done and mot, i will get the fail of them tomorrow and have a look exactly what it needs, i have a friend who can weld for me, they took it to a local truck center for its mot, they employ a full time welder so i think they like to keep him busy.. J

It's only really worth scrap value with no MOT or tax and that much welding required for MOT, i would look elsewhere, there are plenty of better ones about

was thinking about £250- £300 then i could spend about £500 on it and have a nice winter project, gona get the MOT of them tomorrow and see what the full list is. Is what the van failed on saved in the system so if i take it somewhere else will it show up?

Which mot station was it, i do work for a few mot garages in warrington and a few of them can be a bit overzelous as they are short of work rgds andy
