Buyiing mwb glx transit

Hi All

Went to look at a 56 plate glx 110 mwb transit yesterday. all seems good with the spec i was looking for. Only question is what sort of performance should i expect as the test drive didnt blow me away. I have driven 08 plate 115 trannies and they fly from rest. Obviousley im not looking for the van for a performance vehicle but when i accelerated in the 110 it wasnt the same go. The van has 72000 miles on it, a new egr valve, also the accelerator seemed on or off. Not much feel and progression on the peddle movement.

i have heard the set up can be changed by ford on the accelerator is this true due to the drive by wire set up. Going back tomorrow to have another test drive but any feedback is much appreciated

theres a difference in the fwd and rwd transits - were the both the same you've driven

You really need axle ratios to diff erentiate between these Transits
They all have turbos, so I would expect them all to fly

Post the registrations up or enter the registrations into ETIS

yep both were fwd that i drove, 110s and then the 115 was a rear wheel drive hire van with the 6 speed box.
reg is yh56 bcy of the van that i am looking at.
