Looking to buy a mk7 t330 swb for everyday use and occasional towing of 2 tonnes whats the best engine to get for towing and fuel mpg

For towing you really want the biggest you can get, The 100ps is only 5 speed and has a high diff ratio, good for towing, but bad for economy and comfortable cruising, 115 and 140 both have 6 speed and really good diff ratio, I have a 115 350 and it will tow a 2ton cherry picker no problem at all
