The drivers seat looks pretty flat and unsupportive too, although I've always found VW seats to be OK, narrower cabin than a transit?

The whole van is smaller, seats more comfortable than they look though.

i have a lwb and it is bigger in the back than my sportvan was but yes they are narrower but wider than a vito

iv'e now killed 2 mk7 engines and a mk6, is that a record ?

I have owned 1 Hyundai H100, 2 VW T4, 1 MB Vito and at last the Sportvan. The Transit is much more efficient to work with because of the boxy back. Compared to the others the volume is almost the same.
